I am a consultant who works with community groups, business associations, government departments and agencies, nonprofits, coalitions of people, and community members to center their needs in environmental justice. I center my work around changing business-as-usual so that Black, Indigenous, and communities of color will truly be equitable partners in problem-solving the issues that affect where they live.
Values
Environmental justice cannot be attained without connecting, engaging, and co-creating with the people who are most affected by injustice. I lead this work alongside BIPOC communities, centering their voices, expressed needs, and their vision of what’s possible.
Practices
I am a facilitator, consultant, organizer, and storyteller. Annnd, I’m also a systems navigator, a reworker, an empathetic ear, (and much more, you know how we often wear a lot of hats!). What’s important to know is, in all my areas of practice, I lead with connection.
Collaborators
None of should go at this work alone, and I often collaborate and work with other BIPOC and nonbinary professionals and environmental justice experts from my community. These are really dope people, and you should learn more about them.
