Dennis Comer
(he/him)PIRAAS Managing Director
Dennis Comer is a focused and dedicated research analyst, management and leadership expert. He is a retired (20-year) former U.S. Army Officer with several combat tours. His experience in team-building, leadership and data gathering and reporting methodologies serve his clients well in breaking down norms in order to uncover the root cause of inefficiencies within institutional systems.
He has worked in climate justice, community organizing, facilitatorship and mentoring roles in the Northwest since 2011. His expertise has led him to be selected for former Seattle Mayor Ed Murray’s Commercial Affordability Advisory Committee (2016), named program manager and subsequent executive director for the Central Area Collaborative (2016), member of the first Central Area neighborhoods Design Review Board (2018) and currently serves as a Seattle University Fellow as a consultant for establishing equity in the university’s procurement policies. Dennis also served as a member of the Environmental Justice Committee and is a current appointee to the Green New Deal Advisory Committee.

Jamie 真理恵 Stroble
(she/her)Jamie 真理恵 Stroble is a owner of Noio Pathways LLC, and seeks to build community and organizational capacity to address environmental and climate justice, racial equity, and equitable public processes. She is an experienced policy advocate, trainer/educator, and community organizer with nearly 15 years of experience working in environmental justice-related fields, including community development, racial equity, food justice, air quality & environmental health, youth programming, leadership development, and immigrants & refugee programs.
Jamie has a strong background in the incorporation of racial equity in systems and plans, and most recently led the groundbreaking development of the first community-driven climate justice framework (Section II: Sustainable & Resilient Frontline Communities) for King County’s 2020 Strategic Climate Action Plan.
Jamie was a member of the founding Community Partners Steering Committee for the Equity & Environment Initiative at the City of Seattle, and currently serves on the boards of EarthLab at UW, the Puget Sound Climate Preparedness Collaborative, and Asian Pacific Islander Coalition Advocating for Health (APICAT), and co-chairs the Seattle Planning Commission.

Kim Yu
(she/her)research analyst, project manager, and community organizer
Kim Yu is a research analyst, project manager, and community organizer. She holds a Masters in Public Health and has over 10 years of experience in managing teams and consulting on various projects from running successful clinical research projects in the Bronx, NY to building a customer support team within a health tech startup in Seattle.
Her aptitude and experience in research analysis, identifying data-driven solutions, and project management, in addition to her commitment to equity and social justice have made her an integral part of many teams.
She has experience working with various communities, such as people of color, youth, refugee, immigrant and low-income communities. Throughout her career, Kim has centered social justice and equity through her work as well as serving on committees within various local community organizations focused on environmental and social justice issues; most recently, with Got Green and Social Justice Fund NW.
